We survived Las Vegas..... barely.

First off, sorry for the delay in posting, but as a lot of you know, when you leave your "day job" for some fun, you always return to a lot more work than when you left.

Sooooo anyway.... we had a blast! We came back with a lot more ideas and some new and exciting products we'll be sharing with you soon. We got to meet a lot of interesting people and even saw some old friends. Overall, the show was great. It took us a good 2 days to make it thru the entire show and we are glad we took the time.

As mentioned in the last post, we ate at some great buffets, experienced the fantastic nightlife and even got in some gambling. Wendy was the Queen of penny slots. Ask her about it next time you see her (she loves to brag about her "good luck").

Las Vegas, Here We Come!

Wendy and I are gearing up for a road trip to Las Vegas for this years WPPI show. This is the grand-daddy of photography expos. We'll have a good time as always, probably eat too much (great buffets!!) and come back reenergized with lots of new ideas and products to share with you guys.

We are still on the hunt for some office space for our studio. We have a few places in mind, but just need to see how they will work out for us and of course, you, our clients. We'll keep you posted as to how things develop.

It's Official!!!

So it's official. Wendy finished up her last day at The Portrait Place and is officially "on her own". She's been REAL fun to be around lately! (kidding!) She's actually a lot less stressed than I am. She's been working on a couple of weddings, setting up sessions and getting things ready to go. She has been blessed with the time to catch up on some sleep lately, which has me jealous, but she deserves it.

On a side note, we got home a little late tonight and hanging on our doorknob when we pulled up was the new phonebook, which has our first ad in it! We fought out of the car to get to it first, and yes, I let her win. We are very excited and hope this is the start of great things to come. Once you get yours, be sure to check us out.
