Congrats Julie & Scott!!

We had the pleasure of sharing Julie and Scott's special day and what a great time it was! Their wedding and reception took place in the beautiful Double Eagle restaurant located in the Mesilla Plaza. There was a small festival going on that day and it turned out to be a great time as we had some fun images using the surroundings. They demanded a lot of attention from the local gatherers as we walked the plaza for some pictures. It was a perfect day as not only did their family and friends offer the congratulations, so did the plaza!

A Starr Is Born!

During our recent trip to Albuquerque, we were introduced to baby Winston Starr. He was such a good sport for his first photo shoot. We took some time to play around in his room, check out his "crib", and even learned about some of his Scottish heritage from his Grandma. And how could you resist his cute little chin!!

New Meaning to "MTV Cribs"!

Thanks to Winnie's Mom and Dad for helping out and introducing us to the little guy. We are happy to welcome him to the Studio E gang.

Back In The Saddle!

Well hello again Friends. Sorry about the blog absence this week. I was a little under the weather, but I'm feeling better now and ready to get back to work.

We just came back from Jazz Night at Lorenzo's de Mesilla. What a wonderful evening! The band (Jimmy Olivas & Friends, with special guest Dora Reyes) was fantastic and the atmosphere and food was great. I believe they announced the next Jazz Night for August 23rd. It's a $10 cover to get in plus your meal. You can buy tickets for the event starting next week. If you like music, wine and great Italian food, stop by. Let them know Studio E sent ya!

Just wanted to remind you all we have the $50 off our sessions this month. If you haven't scheduled your session, know is the time as we are filling up fast. We'll be announcing our August special soon, so check back with us often.

Fun Friday!!

Umm, yeah, so things got a little crazy in our spare time. My passion for "entertaining" had Wendy laughing so hard she had tears in her eyes. I'm glad she was able to hold the camera still enough to get these pictures.

Time For A Drink....

Well CW & Jana, good things come to those who wait, and I think you've waited long enough!

We had a great time with these guys during their engagement session. We are lucky enough to share their special day of marriage this September and after the fun we had during this shoot, I'm expecting a great time at the wedding.

We spent the afternoon Downtown and captured these guys acting goofy, having fun (CW is a natural at the pouty lips), and showing why they are a cute couple. We did need to call them a cab though as they had a little too much lemonade. :)

We wish you guys the best and look forward to your wedding!

Seriously though, this was ALL Jana's idea...

Can You Keep A Secret?

Curly Q's, Curly Fries and Curly Haired Ashley! She's back for another installment on the Studio E Blog. This time, we walked around the Mercado Plaza and had some fun. We found ourselves in front of Lorenzo's de Mesilla. We were even greeted by the gracious host himself! His wonderful restaurant provides for a great setting.

Happy Fourth Of July!

We just wanted to wish everyone a SAFE and Happy 4th of July. It was nice for mother nature to lend us a little water and then back off a bit for a great night to watch fireworks. Please remember, you'll look so much better in your portraits with all your fingers, so use caution when lighting fireworks!

Introducing..... Kori!!!

Here she is, the lovely Kori. She is entering her senior year as a Las Cruces Bulldawg. She was having a "great hair day" and you know how much everybody loves those kind of days. Kori looked so good, we even took some shots right on her front porch!! We want to thank Grandma and Mom for being such great sports and walking around Mesilla with us and for even helping to carry some of the "accessories". Congratulations to Kori, as she mastered the "Serious Kori" look. Thanks again for letting us share the morning with you.

And They're Off!!!

Here comes a fresh batch of 2009 Seniors! Today we bring you "straight haired" Ashley. She braved the Summer heat and enjoyed some fun with us. Ashley has a great smile and an infectious laugh. The only issue left unsolved on this session??? Mom has a secret that gets Ashley to laugh and smile, REAL BIG, and we can't figure out what it is! Maybe when we see here again soon with the "Curly" do....
