Mayfield Photography Class Contest #2

Here we go again!! We need your help in deciding which one of these images has earned first place. Mrs. Hansen's photography students from Mayfield High School have been tasked to test their Photoshop skills by utilizing one of my beautiful head shots. They will earn prizes based off of your voting, so let's get to it!

I've chosen my 10 favorites and have listed them below with a number assigned to each entry (they are in no particular order). Please take a gander and then vote for your favorite on the right side of the page. Your votes will help determine our winners. Help promote your favorites by sending you friends the link to our Blog so these kids can get maximum exposure!! If you have a Facebook or MySpace account, feel free to post your link to help get those ever so important votes!!

We'll leave the voting open through Sunday night, so let the voting begin!!!

Please be sure to vote and send this link to your friends... The more votes the better!!

Let the contest begin!

Class of 2028... No, Really!

We are sooooo good, we've started shooting High School Seniors... from the Class of 2028!!

These future leaders of our community gave us a taste of the fun we'll have in about 18 years, when the time comes for them to do their real Senior session. If they are this cute now, imagine how they'll be after a little time to grow up!

First off, we bring you Carly. I have a feeling she'll really dig the color pink and probably be a Dallas Cowboys fan (she will if she wants to stay in the family).
Next, we bring you Cooper. A future All-Star Hockey player!

Finally, we bring you Baby George. He's got the name of royalty!!

With their whole lives to get their first job, their first car and their first kiss... At least we can be honored to say, we gave them their first Senior Portraits!!

Thanks to the parents for letting us share in the journey we call life.

Until next time,

Dennis

Rock of Love

From time to time, the usual, consistent and regular need to be shaken up a little. We got to experience a little bit of shaking at the wedding of Sunshine and Brian Mares. Everything was very relaxed, kickback and full of fun and laughter. Both were good sports in having fun with their pictures and even battling the March winds. From one of the most awesome Best Man toasts to an unforgettable Father/Daughter dance, there was a lot to be said about their special day. The fun ceremony was capped off by a huge celebration at Hurricane Alley with The Liars playing in their honor.

The cool thing about Brian and Sunshine is that you can tell they are genuinely best friends. It's hard to see that in a lot of couples, even though you know it's there. These two let it shine! Between their family and tons of close friends, these guys are sure to have lots of fun traveling down the road of life. We thank you Brian and Sunshine for allowing us to share in the festivities.

As always, thanks for stopping by. As the Spring continues on and the colors of the desert start to show, we look forward to getting outside and having some fun with you all. Feel free to leave us some comments, we love to hear from you.

Until next time,

Dennis

Today we welcome Bekah to the Studio E Family. She attends Mesilla Valley Christian School here in Las Cruces, NM. This MVCS Sonblazer participates in tennis, drama and the Praise Team. She plans on attending The King's College in New York. Although she states she will miss her sister dearly, we have faith she will have a blast out there.

A special thanks to Bekah for being a good sport when the makeup brushes came out. The girls had fun getting "creative". :)

Plenty more to come. Thanks for checking us out!

Until next time,

Dennis

Stay tuned for more as we have a busy week to share with you all. As always, thanks for taking some time out of your day to stop by and visit with us. We always appreciate it!!

A True All Star

In this business, we meet many wonderful people. People from all walks of life, different backgrounds, and interesting stories. Today we welcome to the Studio E Family, Allorah, a young girl with an amazing story. On the outside, Allorah is a bright, cheerful, gorgeous young lady. She is always smiling, full of wit and possesses just the right amount of attitude to let you know she means business. At just 11, she has grown up quickly.

But on the inside, Allorah faces a challenge that a lot of us would struggle with. You see, Allorah has battled with Juvenile Myositis (JM) since she was a baby. JM is an autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system attacks its own cells and tissues. She fights through the constant treatments and side affects from the number of medicines she must take. She complains little and fights with all her might. She is definitely a very strong person. How can you resist this smile!!

We are honored to have been able to meet Allorah as she easily brings a smile to your face. Allorah and her Mother, Shannon, attended the 2010 Cure JM Educational Event in Austin, TX this year. Shannon participated in the Marathon event this year and is very close to her sponsoring goal. If you have a chance, please visit this link and help out any way you can. They are very close and it would be great to see our Studio E Family help them finish it off.

If you happen to have the chance to meet Allorah, let her know you saw her on the website, and I'm sure you will get the opportunity to experience her beautiful smile.

Until next time....
